A History of Family and Tradition
Our Story
In July, 2025 we celebrated our 31st anniversity as a New Jersey establishment providing fine italian food to the Trenton/Hamilton and surrounding area. Giuseppe "Jeppy", a native of southern Italy, was born one of six children to Antonino and Giulia who together immigrated from southern Italy in 1959. Jeppy grew up in a family environment where food was synonymous with the warmth of parental love. Sundays were always a time of getting together with family to enjoy a hearty home cooked Italian meal. As a boy, Jeppy learned the value of fresh Italian ingredients by watching his mother effortlesly provide day after day, fine Italian dishes on the table. Jeppy has been making pizza for more than 50 years now and has learned and worked with some of the best pizzaiolos and italian chefs in the area. From his experience of working with the best, he developed his own unique technique and recipes. In 1994 he and his family opened their first Tomato Pie and Pizzeria Restaurant in the Chambersburg section of Trenton. Then in 2010 Jeppy and his son Antonino, who has been with his father from the beginning, opened their second establishment where it is today in Hamilton. Together with the help of his wife, son and two daughters, Jeppy found the support which has made this successful business what it is today. The tradition continues with Jeppy and his son Antonino working side by side to provide their customers with the finest ingredients, combined with a warm and friendly smile.
